Bruno’s ‘Conto do Homem Só’ (Lonesome Man’s Story), a short story taken from the unpublished short story collection ‘Baltimore de Madrugada’ (Baltimore at Dawn), was published by Jornal Digital. An online publication based in Braga, Portugal, Jornal Digital was created by Pedro Amaral, a Mozambican national, in 2021. ‘Baltimore de Madrugada’ is a collection of some of the best short stories Bruno Martins Soares ever wrote and still hasn’t found a publisher in Portugal. Says Bruno: ‘I will only publish it when the right time and the right opportunity come along.’
